I have been a dog owner for many years and have known and loved many wonderful dogs from puppy to the older rescue. I now have a pack of six dogs.

My life changed 5 years ago when a 9 month old puppy who had been returned to his breeder twice came to live with us.  He was described as " very boisterous and untrainable".   He had been to traditional dog training classes, but his latest family could no longer cope with him. 

Fortunately at the same time I was recommended to read Jan Fennell's book "The Dog Listener".  I started  working with all my dogs implementing the method and the difference in them was absolutely incredible.  I now have 6 relaxed happy dogs. 

 I attended both the  Foundation and Advanced Course's in Canine Communication run by Jan Fennell and her son Tony Knight.  I hold The Advanced Certificate in Canine Communication. 

I worked as a member of  Jan Fennell's organisation as a Dog Listener where I gained recognition in my work reaching the status of Highly Recommended Associate Dog Listener.  I was also a Mentor within the group helping and supporting other Dog Listeners.  I am now working independently.

I recieve referals from a number of Veterinary Surgeons within the North East and the RSPCA (Great Ayton).  I also support the RSPCA  giving advice and help to people adopting dogs from them, if they are experiencing problems. Together with attending their Gala day by invitation, to give advice and answer questions on behavioural issues.
